Support Engineer

SUMMARY:
The main function of the Technical Support Engineer is to attend to all day-to-day technical inquiries within the branch, both internal and external, and ensure that all sales staff and customer technical tickets are serviced and closed. POSITION INFO:

AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification.
Minimum of 5 years networking experience of which 2 years in a complex routing and switching environment and at least 1 year with a Service Provider.
Minimum Cisco CCNP certification.
Advanced experience with internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS, ISIS and/or OSPF, BGP.
Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS-XR
Understanding of AWS networks and experience implementing best practices
Knowledge of AWS technologies (Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing, Virtual Private Cloud, and Direct Connect).
Proficient in Linux administration
Certifications in system administration, system architecture, virtualization, or cloud technologies.
Experience with VMware products
Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, security, automation, and orchestration.
Excellent teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills.
Perform other duties as deemed necessary and assigned by management
Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
