Overview: The Sales Specialist will co-ordinates between distributors, end users and factories. The primary role is to engage a distribution network and actively work with them to promote products.

Surgical & Infection Control - Sales Representative

Overview: The Sales Specialist will co-ordinates between distributors, end users and factories. The primary role is to engage a distribution network and actively work with them to promote products.

Duties:

• Engage with distributors on a daily basis
• Regular business reviews with distributors
• Prepare and execute annual country action plans
• Prepare and execute annual product plans
• Prepare monthly sales forecasting
• Day to day sales functions with distributors, including assistance with product configurations,
• Pricing, checking of quotes, provision of marketing material etc.
• Focus on projects and future potential in the markets
• Ensure good knowledge of markets and market dynamics
• Visit customers throughout English speaking Africa together with distributors
• Arrange trainings for distributors and customers (sales and technical)
• Ensure that training records are accurate and updated quarterly
• Maintain the market, product and distributor databases

Requirements:

• Life Science or Bio-Medical Engineer/ Graduate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within Medical Devices Industry
• Experience in managing Distributors
• Knowledge of operating tables, surgical lights and infection control (CSSD) equipment will be an advantage
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to confidently present products and solve problems
• Microsoft Office skills
• Able to travel extensively throughout English speaking Africa
• Previous experience in the markets will be beneficial
• Valid passport
• Unendorsed driver’s licence

Remuneration: R50000 P/M Negotiable
