SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for Syspro Consultants.

POSITION INFO:

Introduction:

• Their main objective is to provide practical technology products that deliver competitive advantage to their customers, while providing improvements in their operating efficiency and stock control to deliver significant cost savings.
• The team includes software developers, business consultants, and system implementation and customer support specialists working together to ensure great results.
• The successful candidate will have either have experience implementing ERP systems in the industrial or logistics sector or have a SQL development background. The successful candidate will be upskilled in as part of a company designed development plan. The role will work closely with both the Design team, Client, General Manager, and other relevant team members and be required to configure to meet the clients’ requirements.
• Business Analysis is essential for this role – strong BA skills coupled with technical ability will secure the position.
• Overview of Responsibilities: Analysis of clients existing business processes to ensure a deep and thorough understanding of their requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Execution and delivery of the client’s solutions by configuring the product using business process knowledge, product knowledge, SQL scripts and problem-solving skills.
• ERP integration with Syspro, Sage, Exact, SAP Business One and various other ERP’s
• Fully test the solution prior to client UAT to ensure that the required standards are met and that the client’s expectations are fulfilled.
• Manage the User Acceptance tests and obtain signoffs for the delivered solution prior to Go-Live.
• Manage the scope of the project and obtain variation orders for any additional work or functionality required.
• Provide onsite Go-live support
• Provide on-site user training and support for the software as implemented for the customer. This means working with the users on the customer site to ensure that they fully understand the product and how to use it.
• Configuration testing and comparison to what solution was proposed.
• SSRS Reporting
• Client engagement to identify further opportunities
• Provide day-to-day consulting assistance for multiple clients
• Bartender integration – Designing and printing of 1D and 2D barcodes
• Compile professional reports and presentations for delivery to clients
• Develop close relationships with clients to identify additional areas for development and assistance
• Training and mentoring junior resources
• Travel to local and international customer sites

Education:

• Related Tertiary Qualification such as:
• BCom
• BSc Information Systems & Business Systems
• BSc Engineering

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years work experience as a BA, PM or SQL developer.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proven experience in IT
• Ability to deliver under pressure
• Knowledge of the Translution software product will be an advantage
