JOB SUMMARY:
A wholesale & distribution company based in Stellenbosch is looking for a System Administrator to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:

This position will suit a self-motivated logical thinker with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. The ability to work independently as well as in a team are key to the role.

The successful candidate will work within the I.S. department and will work closely with the existing Systems Administrator in supporting and growing the business I.T. platform.

You will be responsible for maintaining health and availability of Windows OS, MSOffice and Windows server environment. Duties will include:

Maintaining a high level of Cybersecurity readiness
End user support and administration
Network/hardware troubleshooting
Other related systems administration tasks and activities

Education:

Grade 12
Microsoft Certifications

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5 years + experience in the following :
- Windows servers/OS/AD
- Virtualization (Hyper-V)
- Networking
- End User and PC support
- M365
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Relevant formal tertiary qualification/s (eg. MCSE, MCSA, CompTIA, CySA+)

Other technologies/platforms used (Advantageous to have)

MS Access
Syspro
Veeam
MSSQL experience
