POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an experience System Administrator: Information Systems for a 12-month fixed term contract Position with our client based in Rustenburg in the North West Province.

 

Will work within the Procurement Department.

 

To provide continuous support and administration services as the first line of support for all information technology related matters to the Supply Chain Management department ranging from SAP ERP, Ariba, Business Warehouse / SAP Analysis, Intranet / SharePoint, and general access control to all systems.

 

Minimum educational level:

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • National diploma (NQF level 6 equivalent) in supply chain management, information technology or engineering studies
  • SAP related courses on materials management module (MM) is advantageous

 

We require the following:

  • Minimum 5 yearsâ?? working experience in a supply chain management environment including both procurement and inventory/warehouse management is essential
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP Materials Management (MM) module, SAP plant maintenance, FI/CO modules
  • Knowledge of Ariba SIPM/SLP, Sourcing, Contracts, Catalogues
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, SAP Analysis and Business Warehouse
  • Advanced skills in MS excel/PowerPoint/outlook as well as SAP MM module
  • Numerical skills and Analytical skills
  • Communication Interpersonal skills
  • Project Management skills
Skills and Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support all systems users as first-line support with trouble-shooting and operational requirements which can be resolved locally where possible prior to escalating requirements to BIIS and SAP consultants
  • Assist with the preparation of business requirements documents (BRD) and general SAP related notifications from business as well as facilitating and monitoring the execution of the requests amongst relevant stakeholders on the Solutions Manager (Solman) platform
  • Facilitate all user acceptance testing (UAT) on all SAP related (ERP, Business Warehouse / SAP Analysis, Ariba) developments, projects, enhancements, improvements as part of all stakeholders at business
  • Be the gatekeeper of the intranet and SharePoint systems and managing access control on behalf of business
  • Facilitate and advise on all SAP related access control (SAP transactions and roles) for all system users between business and company BIIS
  • Provide SAP related training to users including Business Warehouse, Ariba and the ERP system on all procurement and inventory management related transactions
