System Integration and Cutover Lead

Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is looking for an experienced System Integration and Cutover Lead to join their Enterprise Finance and P&O Technology team on a 12-month contract opportunity based in Sandton (Onsite). 

The role will provide technical and delivery leadership across the Finance integration landscape, with responsibility for coordinating system integrations, downstream dependencies and cutover activities across the Finance transformation.

POSITION INFO:
What you will be doing: Lead the technical coordination of Finance system integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Microsoft\/.NET and downstream enterprise systems. Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle from solution design and build through testing, deployment, cutover and post-production support. Coordinate integration dependencies across Finance Technology, data platforms, downstream applications, reporting, risk, regulatory and operational systems. Maintain a clear view of integration dependencies, technical owners, required changes, testing requirements, milestones and delivery dates. Work closely with Finance, technology, data and business teams to understand changes to Finance data structures, Chart of Accounts, interfaces, mappings and business rules. Coordinate end-to-end integration testing across Finance and downstream systems to ensure changes are validated across the full data chain. Lead cutover planning and execution activities, ensuring integration components, dependent systems, data, interfaces and technical teams are ready for deployment. Develop and maintain detailed cutover plans, sequencing, dependencies, responsibilities, checkpoints, rollback arrangements and escalation paths. Coordinate technical readiness across multiple teams and actively manage blockers, resource constraints and delivery risks. Ensure transitional and coexistence arrangements are operationally supportable, reconciled and clearly owned. Provide technical leadership for Oracle Fusion Cloud integration patterns, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Fusion APIs, file-based interfaces and approved batch processes . Provide technical oversight across .NET\/C#, REST\/SOAP APIs, SQL, secure file transfer and enterprise integration services . Review integration designs, technical solutions, configurations and code to ensure alignment with agreed standards. Work closely with system integrators and consulting partners across technical design, build, testing, implementation and cutover. Challenge and resolve technical design or delivery issues and escalate material risks early. Ensure appropriate knowledge transfer, documentation, runbooks and support capability are in place before transition into business-as-usual operations. Monitor integration health and ensure failures are detected, investigated and resolved effectively. Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring integration incidents. Ensure appropriate source control, versioning, CI\/CD, environment management and controlled production deployment practices are followed. Provide clear reporting to Finance Technology and Programme leadership on integration readiness, cutover progress, risks, dependencies and critical-path activities. Act as the key technical integration point between Finance Technology, system integrators, Oracle teams, data engineering and downstream application owners. What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline. 10+ years' relevant technology experience , with strong practical experience in enterprise integration. At least 5 years' experience in a Technical Lead, Solution Lead or Senior Engineering role . Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise integrations using APIs, messaging and\/or file-based integration patterns . Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and\/or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) , or experience integrating with large SaaS\/ERP platforms. Strong experience in at least one Microsoft development stack, preferably .NET\/C# , together with solid SQL and database fundamentals. Experience coordinating complex system integrations across multiple technology teams. Proven experience managing integration dependencies, testing, deployment and cutover activities . Experience leading technical teams and providing technical direction, design assurance and code\/design reviews. Experience managing complex production issues through to resolution. Strong understanding of SDLC, source control, CI\/CD, environment management and controlled production deployments . Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical risks and dependencies clearly. Experience working with system integrators or consulting partners while retaining internal technical ownership. Ability to coordinate multiple teams against programme timelines and actively manage blockers and delivery risks. Beneficial: Deep Oracle Fusion Financials integration experience. Experience with OIC, BICC, REST\/SOAP APIs, UCM, FBDI and other Oracle-supported integration patterns. Experience with Finance or banking integrations, including ledger, subledger, reference data, reconciliation, reporting or regulatory data flows. Experience with Azure integration or data services and hybrid Oracle\/Microsoft environments. Familiarity with AFCS\/AHCS, Oracle EDM and ODP\/data-platform environments . Experience managing technical delivery and cutover with system integrators or managed service providers in a regulated environment.
