System and IT Business Analyst

POSITION INFO:

Our client in Fund and Asset Management is looking to fill a vacnt role IT Business Analyst for their Joburg office.

Job Purpose

• Manage organization’s databases ensuring the integrity, security, efficiency and availability of data. Develop and run import and export processes as required. Maintain and develop reporting capabilities. Assist in the support of the operation of VFM investment management systems.

• Runs with staff IT related training. Building and maintaining relationships with outside vendors for IT related products and services. Analysing how well software, hardware and the wider IT system fit the business needs of the Company.

• Responsible for IT systems, policies, procedures, and processes, reviewing relevant IT legislation.

• Maintains organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.

Education and Experience Required

• Microsoft certified DBA
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science / IT
• 5 years database & structure experience
• SQL experience
• Excel – add in: Office VBA
