I am currently building a pipeline of skilled Systems Administrators for contract and long-term assignments across South Africa. These roles offer exposure to diverse infrastructures, cloud technologies, and enterprise-level environments.

I’m looking for Systems Administrators with hands-on experience supporting and maintaining servers, networks, security systems, and cloud environments.
Partnering with me provides access to exciting technical roles where your expertise in Windows/Linux environments, virtualisation, networking, backups, and cloud administration will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and availability.
Install, configure, and support software, hardware, and network systems.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user access controls.
Support virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Perform backups, disaster recovery, and patch management.
Manage cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
Ensure security compliance, antivirus management, and firewall configurations.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Microsoft Certifications (MCSA/MCSE, Azure) , CompTIA A+, N+, Security+, VMware / Hyper-V Certification or Cisco CCNA

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Systems Administrator
Hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration
Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Experience with virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VPN)
Backup and disaster recovery solutions
Cloud Experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)

Nice to Have:

Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
