Our client is a Stellenbosch-based technology company, who builds digital technology solutions that is contributing towards creating productive societies across Africa. They are looking for employ a Systems Analyst to join their team.

The company has market-leading expertise in the agricultural, health, financial inclusion and education spaces and works with mobile network operators to bring about positive change in the lives of people through the benefits of the digital dividend. It is a home-grown African company delivering value to the people of Africa and is a subsidiary of the Vodacom Group.

In the role of Systems Analyst, you will contribute towards the companyâ€™s overall technology strategy by developing, implementing and maintaining a governance framework for technology and product development. To maintain the technical excellence of our products, platform and framework, you will perform quarterly technology audits on key products and platform / framework components and facilitate annual external audits for these components.

As the ideal individual for the role, you are someone who is analytical with a keen attention to detail. In addition, you have highly developed technical problem solving skills. You are proficient in writing software code and relational databases, including database design, writing complex aggregation queries, writing SQL functions, partitioning, etc.

Requirements

7+ yearsâ€™ experience in information technology.
5+ yearsâ€™ experience in full stack development, ideally including Java development.
5+ yearsâ€™ experience working with SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
