  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  Primary: Infrastructure and Active Directory

  Secondary: Exchange / Hyper-V and SCCM

  Minimum 3 â?? 5 yearsâ?? experience in an IT operational environment

  Skills and Experience:
  • Attend to incident/requests in Service  Desk.
  • Monthly maintenance tasks
  • Will be reporting to Manage Operate Operations Managers
  • Sophos Endpoint Security will be beneficial

  • ITIL Foundation qualification

  • Microsoft Certified Engineer (MCE)

  Key Accountabilities:
  • Proactive Maintenance and Administration
    Continuous Improvements Objectives
    Perform preventative, adaptive and perfective maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of the
  • Manage and execute all service requests (installing, moving and decommissioning).
  • Manage and resolve all incidents and problems.
  • Execute all the changes in accordance with the Departmentâ??s change management processes.
  • Perform all functions pertaining to IT Service Availability Management
  • Perform all functions pertaining to IT service Capacity Management.
  • Perform all functions pertaining to IT service Performance Management.
  • Perform all functions pertaining to IT service Continuity Management.
  • Perform all functions pertaining to the management of third party suppliers (vendor management).
  • Produce the necessary reports (e.g. trend analysis, service performance) for service improvement and management reporting purposes.
  • Maintain as-built documents per service. Documents include relevant OS and all application installation information.
  • Perform basic maintenance on Hyper-V failover Clustering and Storage
  • Backup Tape Management

  QUALIFICATIONS

  ITIL Foundation qualification
