SUMMARY:
Responsible for the System Engineering function for guided weapons programs for ammunition and aircraft bombs.

POSITION INFO:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Establish a guidance and control capability for company products
Identify required technical resources and develop a team required to execute guidance projects
Fulfil Primary System Engineering function for guidance projects
Design and specify functional requirements of technical building blocks for guidance projects
Technical Lead of the guidance team
Identify and source suitable technical sub-systems for guidance projects
Leads guidance discussions with international clients
Technical support to marketers and project managers.

POST REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum : BSc/B.Eng in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering. Masters in Engineering preferred
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of Systems Engineering, guidance, navigation and control for guided weapons
Proven System Engineering capabilities in leading major development programs for guided weapons
Proven system simulation capabilities
Strong computer skills.
Experience in Integration and Testing of complex guidance and navigation systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and self-motivated.
