A large Manufacturing and Supply company based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is currently looking for a Systems Finance Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will function as the liaison between the various Finance and Information Technology departments within the company. If you are the ideal for this vacancy, please apply!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) degree
- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a similar position
- Strong working knowledge and/or experience with financial reporting
- Previous working experience with JD Edwards Accounting Receivables modules, Hubble Insight Report Development, Max Sales System, Onbase, and OLAP in Data Warehousing systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly advantageous
Job description & Skills:
- Conduct data queries and produce reporting/analyses on DAS, Excel and MAX
- Establish and implement new systems and/or controls while ensuring the continuous development of new products
- Ensure that ad hoc system queries are resolved
- Ensure data integrity within financial systems
- Manage the access and/or security of company financial information
- Liaise with management and stakeholders in the relevant Finance and Information Technology departments
- Facilitate staff development and training
