Job Description

• Responsible for overall Group ESGS strategic plan creation and implementation
• Provide Technical expertise on key issues relating to environmental and social impact assessment and sustainability risks
• Assist with Group Safety Review and Implementation
• Ensure compliance to SHREQ Legislative requirements
• Accountable for ESGS Systems and processes across the group
• Design Social impact program
• Will suit candidates residing in: Phalaborwa, Midrand or Richards Bay – extensive travelling between these areas

Qualifications

• MBA
• Bachelor''s Degree (Environmental studies)
• Professional ESGS Registration/Certification

Skills

• 15 years professional experience with sustainability, including Climate Action Experience, ESGS and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
• The ideal candidate will have Chemical, Fertilizer, petrochemical and mining industry experience
• 8 years'' Management experience of which 5 years'' should have been at a Senior management level
• Excellent financial and business acumen, with multi-functional expertise
• Deadline driven with a proven track record of improving SHREQ performance
