TMO 18285 - Buyer – Food Manufacturing

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced applicant to join their team in the capacity of a Buyer. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following

• Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate price, and manage relationships
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure purchase orders are confirmed
• Actioning daily price enquiries from Internal Sales department
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery
• Negotiate purchase terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing, quality, and service
• Create and manage purchase orders and supplier sales contracts
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new supplier opportunities
• Inventory Management
• Other Related Duties
