Job Description

My client is looking for a dynamic BEE candidate to run their production department.  Some of the duties are covered below:

• Production plan is implemented and maintained by assessment against the business objectives and priorities on an on-going basis and reported on daily and must be able to meet production throughput levels.
• Management of the QM system to ensure audit results are as per agreed standard
• Prompt reporting of faults or maintenance required to ensure machine uptime
• Adherence to HACCP & AIB standards to ensure accreditation is achieved & maintained
• Ensure employee attendance is managed and that individual problem areas are addressed with HR
• Ensure that employees are motivated to perform their duties and managed accordingly

Qualifications

• Matric
• Degree/Diploma in Production/Operations Management

Skills

• 5-10- years experience in Food Production
• Production management functions and processes
• Production planning
• Computer Literacy
