SUMMARY:
Are you immediately available to take on a six-month contract assignment for our International Client? We require your 6-8 years experience focusing on HR experience in a Learning and Development or Talent management role. Excellent opportunity to manage effective staff development requirements within the retail and head office within this global organisation.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric plus relevant education qualification

Ability to think critically & to partner with HR and business leaders

Must have experience to interact at the highest levels of the company and manage multiple stakeholders

HR generalist with cross-functional experience in Talent areas including but not limited to executive coaching, leadership development, succession management, talent identification & organizational development

Strong team player with ability to work independently

Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to present, influence and sell concepts to senior stakeholders

Good understanding of retail and commercial business

MS-Office skills

 

DUTIES

Work closely with the Retail leadership and HR team to ensure the company are retaining & engaging staff whilst following fair and consistent labor practices

Focus and drive the HR priorities of Culture; Leadership; Performance and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion withing the organization

Address any learning needs alongside the People Managers to find the right training solutions for employees

Administer and execute plans to support growth and the companies high-performance culture

Research and work with external partners that can deliver against our training needs

Define, document, and track individual development data and build a report to ensure all data is tracked effectively

Work closely with the Senior HR Manager ensuring that the Retail team have clear learning interventions relevant to their growth

Ensure that all global programs are delivered effectively in South Africa

Manage all aspects of the budget, tracking the spend as well as creating metrics to review quarterly

Roll out all relevant global material and initiatives in a timely manner

Ensure that all aspects of staffing, employee relations, performance management and compensation & benefits for all employees are delivered in accordance with relevant local labor and commercial legislation

Ensure high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching and training and development of staff

 

Salary: R   dependent on experience
