JOB DESCRIPTION:

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years post article experience advantageous (can be in Audit)

Job Description

Manage the company’s income tax requirements including detailed calculations, collating supporting documentation working closely with tax consultants and SARS on submission requirements

Responsible for managing the company’s US listed shareholder reporting requirements

Prepare business models to evaluate new business opportunities

Forecasting and budget preparation

Regular interaction with departmental managers to implement, resolve and improve operational or accounting issues

Work closely with the SARB on company reporting requirements and annual data submissions

Provide strategic insight to Exco and Manco on business improvement areas resulting from reporting

Preparation of internal monthly management accounts and other business reporting, providing insight into the operations, calling out areas of concern and potential improvement

Be an active member on the company’s Risk and Regulatory Committee

Possess a strong understanding of the financial operations of the company

Improve processing efficiencies and drive system improvements and automation

Qualification:CA(SA)
