SUMMARY:
My client in the tax services industry is seeking a BCom (Honours) Tax graduate to join the team in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities will include the following:

Assisting tax consultants with computation of various tax calculations;
Assist tax consultants with maintenance of client database and billing sheet;
Completion and submission of tax returns, as well as submission of related supporting documents (i.e. ITR12, IRP6);
Monitoring and management of SARS notices and correspondence, as well as liaising with SARS hereon;
Tax research; and
Registration and deregistration of individuals for income tax and other tax types on e-Filing.

Attending to client specific matters which include, but are not limited to the following:

Tax Return preparation and submissions;
SARS calculation preparations;
Liaising with SARS contact centre on various matters;
Uploading supporting documents;
Client liaison and managing client expectations;
Assisting the manager and managing partner with any ancillary services.
Progress reporting
Filing, printing and scanning
Setting up of meetings
Ad hoc admin duties
Compiling and gathering of tax documents
Requesting and tracking of invoicing
