JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a large accountancy firm, is currently recruiting for a Tax Administrator to start soonest at their Cape Town Offices.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

The candidate must have strong communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to get along with clients, colleagues, and peers alike.
He/she must have the ability to pay attention to detail at all times, must be capable of controlling workflow in relating to clients, and be deadline-driven to ensure the meeting of deadlines/deliverables timeously.
He/she must have worked in a practical Taxation environment (the firm/s worked for do not have to be Chartered Accountants and for the purposes hereof SAIPA registered firms will also suffice) for a period of at least 2 to 2,5 years and must have sound practical/working application ability and be completely proficient with regard to all aspects as relating to SARS e-filing and Easyfile ( ).
He/she must have a sound practical work knowledge with regard to Taxation including but not limited to the preparation of Income tax returns in respect of Individuals, Trusts, Companies, and Close Corporations, attending on objections and appeals to SARS, and must have the ability to interact on a regular basis with SARS’ Officials.
He/she must be prepared to visit SARS Cape Town Branch for the purposes of dealing with SARS’ Officials with regard to various tax-related applications.
He/she must have a sound practical/working application ability with regard to Taxation in conjunction with all SARS’ processes and procedures including but not limited to SARS’ e-filing and SARS’ easy-file, and must have a sound practical/working application ability with EXCEL on an intermediate level.
He/she must have a sound theoretical knowledge of Taxation.

Minimum Requirments:

SAICA or SAIPA registered
Own Vehicle and Clean Credit and Criminal Record
Knowledge of SARS e-filing and Easyfile ( )
2 to 3 years post articles experience
