Tax Administrator - IGrow Chartered Accountants

Duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of SARS income tax returns
• Handling of SARS enquiries and submission of supporting documents
• Preparing and submitting dispute resolutions: Objections and appeals
• Calculate, prepare and submit provisional tax returns
• Review and assess SARS tax assessments
• Arrangement of payments via efiling and administration
• System maintenance (updating client information)
• SARS efiling profile requests and maintenance
• Liaising and following up with SARS and resolving queries
• Adherence to SARS deadlines
• Making and attending appointments with SARS
• Income tax return submissions
• VAT/PAYE/Income tax/Customs registrations and deregistration's
• Tax directives/donations tax/dividends tax/Turnover tax
• Employee registration
• Complete tax administration function
• Reception duties

Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Certificate/Diploma (Finance/Taxation) 
• Registered with SAIT will be advantageous 
• Computer literacy – MS Office and efiling
• The ability to work independently with no or little supervision
• Works well under pressure
• Strong administration skills and good understanding of organizational processes and practices
• Have exceptional analytical skills with a passion for accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
• Tech savvy and ability to learn new programmes
• Good time management skills, knowing how to prioritise
