An organisation that ensures to deliver value to all stakeholders, while responding to the future needs of the business is looking for a TAX Advisor. The core operation continue to deliver strong performance.

This role offers a blend of tax technical and compliance responsibility with a focus on close collaboration with business units throughout the group. This often requires someone with a more operational and hands on approach.

Duties:

Take primary responsibility for the management of the overall tax engagements
Monitor the status of general tax compliance and address issues of concern
Assist management with managing the tax risk framework
Report tax related matters
Pro-active contribution to improve existing processes and implementation of new initiatives
Provide tax compliance support and oversight
Provide technical support
SARS queries

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric
BCom/BCom Honours
Qualified CA(SA)
Post Graduate tax qualification

Experience:

CA (SA) with post 4/5 years post articles experience
Tax exposure in practise or a corporate tax function
Proven business knowledge and general understanding of the financial service industry

Skills & Competencies:

Prepare and submit tax returns
Tax research and advice and computes tax
Tax regulatory
Maintain tax records
Management and coaching of employees
