SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity with a large corporate listed company based outside Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

Reports To : Group Financial Manager
Purpose of the Job : To fulfil the key responsibility for corporate tax compliance for all entities
within the group. To build a career in the tax department of a listed entity.

Qualifications and Experience
• B. Com Accounting degree, Honours and articles (CA(SA))
• Minimum 6+ years’ working experience post articles
• Corporate tax compliance experience (large group)
• Interest in taxation

Job Responsibilities
• Income tax: Returns reviews and submissions
• Income tax: Request for information (IT14SD) review and submissions
• Provisional tax: Return reviews and submissions
• Interim and yearend tax pack reviews
• Interim and yearend tax disclosure reviews
• Liaising with tax consultants in African countries
• Tax compliance committee pack preparation
• Remain up to date with changes in taxation legislation
