POSITION INFO:
An accounting firm in Knysna is looking for a Tax Consultant to join their team.

The candidate will work closely with the tax team under the guidance of the tax manager and tax administrator.

Requirements:

• Experience in tax and accounting will be beneficial
• Relevant qualification in tax or accounting
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good administration skills
• Attention to detail
• Numeracy skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Team player

• Preparation of income tax returns (for individuals, companies, trusts)
• Assist with tax administration
• Preparation of tax calculations
• Preparation of VAT and EMP201 returns
• Provide assistance with SARS objections/disputes/verifications
• Tax Clearance applications.
• SARS follow-ups and attending SARS appointments.
• Dealing with clients and client queries.
