An exciting opportunity with a large corporate listed company based outside Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

eports To : Group Financial Manager

Purpose of the Job : To fulfil the key responsibility for tax financial reporting and transfer pricing compliance for all entities within the group. To build a career in the tax department of a listed entity.

Qualifications and Experience
• B. Com Accounting degree, Honours and articles (CA(SA))
• Minimum 4+ years’ working experience post articles
• Tax reporting experience (large group)
• Transfer pricing experience (preferable)
• Interest in taxation

Job Responsibilities :

• Interim and yearend tax pack reviews
• Interim and yearend tax disclosure reviews
• Group tax rate reconciliation
• Review of consolidation journals tax effect for group reporting
• Tax disclosures in annual financial statements
• Liaising with tax consultants in African countries
• Management account tax review (monthly)
• Withholding tax reviews
• Transfer pricing
• Government grants: Co-ordination & reporting
• Tax compliance committee pack preparation
• Tax reporting pack template maintenance
• Remain up to date with changes in taxation legislation
