Position: Tax Specialist Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng Salary: R 900 000.00 to R1 000 000.00 per annum. Are you looking to write the next chapter in your career with an ever-growing manufacturer? This is the Tax Specialist position for you!

Job and Company description:

This leader in the manufacturing industry is looking to get a competitive edge in their unique market by the addition of a Tax Specialist to the financial team. This is a position that is focused on the full taxation function but will give you the opportunity to be involved on an all-rounder basis. They are a company that aims to grow and expand but also drives their team to be technically strong and skilled.

You will be tasked to take on duties inclusive, but not limited to the following:

Dealing will the full taxation function - calculations and submissions
Managing Direct and Indirect taxation function (Income tax and VAT)
Managing Tax Saving and Tax risk identification
Dealing with SARS
Managing the Tax Packs

Education:

Completed BCom degree is essential
CA(SA) accreditation is preferred
Masters in Tax preferred

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Between 5 to 10 years of commercial experience is required
Big 8 experience is preferred
Royalties experience is preferred
Manufacturing, Mining, or similar industry experience is preferred
