My client is searching for a dynamic Tax and Legislation Associate with a high-achiever track record, in academics and experience, but someone who also can easily work with everyone on all skills levels. The role will see you reporting and liaising with various divisions and stakeholders, learning from the best of the best.

The focus of the role will be:

• Business development- new business and retention of clients
• Dealing with internal and external advisors
• Implementation, design, and management of proposals
• Research and reporting on introduction of new tax legislation and case law (Corporate Tax focused)
• Writing tax opinions and consider implications from an accounting, tax, and legal perspective
• Risk identification and management

Education:

• BCom degree within Tax focus
• LLB or similar will be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 to 5 years’ similar type role or similar experience
• Strong client, dealmaker, associate, or similar experience is highly advantageous
  • Consulting, Financial Services, banking, or a similar industry exposure is essential
