Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Team Leader to join their team.
Location: Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha
Job type: Permanent & Contract Positions - On Site
Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of the team
- Responsible for daily reports and actioning targets not met
- Manpower planning
- Station ergonomics
- Scrap management
- Quality supervision
- Knowledge and adherence to H&S/HR procedures and regulations
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards
- Assist with WIP/Sorts
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with maths or equivalent
- Supervisor/Management experience (Min 2 Years)
- Managerial/Supervisory/logistics qualification
- Driver’s license preferable
- Valid Forklift license required
- Above average Excel skills
Skills Required
- Ability to effectively monitor & direct a team
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and able to multi-task
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Target driven
