JOB SUMMARY:

A multinational automotive manufacturer has exciting opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified Team leader to join their Production Support Centre in Durban. The suitable candidate will be responsible for supporting the Production Support Centre team with production and stock.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Plan, prioritize and delegate daily Customer requirements with team members for Day and Night Shifts

-Maintain and control stock on daily basis, including FIFO control

-Assisting with driving the Forklift/ Reach truck and Tow motor to satisfy urgent customer requirements

-Always ensure accuracy of stock received and delivered

-Adhere to all Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) to ensure quality and Safety

-To Support Customers demands and ensure continuous Customer satisfaction

-Assist with stock take preparation and participate with regular stock counts

-To ensure housekeeping is done daily by all team members and assist when required

-Submit kaizen's and near misses to ensure continuous improvements of processes

-Report any defects or irregularities to ensure safety and quality is always upheld

-Conduct daily bin audit with strict adherence to FIFO

-Conduct daily SAP process management and compile and submit daily shift reports and other control documents

-Assist with other activities within the PSC operation

-Prepared to work shifts in line with the Customer demands

-Must be willing to work nightshift
