SUMMARY:
Our client in the Banking Industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Team Leader: Security Operations in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Security Management or an equivalent NQF7 qualification
6 years’ operational security experience in a National Key Point facility protection environment
4 years’ experience in operational security management, including security systems, procedures, facilities and personnel
Knowledge of security management (facilities protection), facility operational security management (security systems, procedures and personnel), risk management, and firearm competence
Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) Grade B certificate
Computer literacy, and be conversant in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including the electronic mail (email) system

KPAs:

Provide input into the cash centre’s security governance documents in order to ensure operational compliance
Ensure compliance and implementation of policies, procedures and legislative requirements within the function
Plan and implement special security events held for the facility
Provide the security resources in support of the cash centre’s security operations function
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in mitigating any risks related to the cash centre security operations
Ensure the operational fitness of advanced and basic equipment for the cash centre security
Provide management information for the purposes of decision-making.
