Team Leader Technology: Hybrid Mobile Apps (CH842a)

Our client in the banking industry is looking for a Technology Team Leader for their Hybrid Mobile Application development team.

Purpose Statement

• To provide direction to and lead IT teams responsible for the full product lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of all product features, support and maintenance related tasks within the Bank Operations
• Oversee the ongoing drive to increase efficiency, optimisation, innovation and people development in these environments.

Experience

Minimum:

• At least 8-10 years’ experience in software development management
• 2-3 Years’ experience leading a technical team.
• Experience in progressive database or software development roles
• In an environment which required validating work
• Stakeholder relationship engagement and management
• Responsibility for delivery in a fast moving environment
• General business acumen
• Budgeting and accounting principles
• Business analysis and design
• Project Management principles and methodologies
• Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Agile methodologies

Technical Requirements:

• Experienced in Building / Developing Hybrid Mobile Applications
• Experience with Front-end Application Development
• Technical requirements/experience:
• Frameworks
  • Apache Cordova, Phonegap OR Ionic (Required)
  • Angular, React, Node.JS (Nice to have)
• Front-end technologies:
  • JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS
• Developed frontend Web Applications that can be used on Mobile Applications (not Mobile app Development as such)
• Compiling Hybrid Mobile Application to iOS and Android
• API integration (Rest API)
• Security in Mobile Applications (good understanding)

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology - Computer Science or Information Technology – Programming (Preferred)
