Technical Advisor (Poultry)

SUMMARY:
A multinational leader in the Poultry market has an opportunity for a Parent Breeder Technical Manager/Advisor.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience or newly qualified candidates will be considered if they want to specialize in poultry breeding management.
• A strong understanding of bird health, nutrition, and genetics, and excellent technical and customer support skills.
• Key duties include overseeing breeding programs, analyzing flock data, providing technical guidance to customers and sales teams, and ensuring compliance with breeding standards and animal welfare.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Relevant tertiary education, BSc Agriculture, Animal Science, Biology, Animal Nutrition etc.; specializing in Poultry will be advantageous.
• The client will also look at newly qualified candidates with a passion for the Animal Health environment.
• Please note: Afrikaans and English must be your first language(s).
• Driver's license essential.
• Be able to work remotely, away from home.
