Technical Business Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Technical Business Analyst who combines strong analytical abilities with hands-on experience in SQL and software development. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into practical, tech-driven solutions. You'll play a key role in streamlining processes, supporting development teams, and ensuring successful delivery of system enhancements and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with business users to identify and document system requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications that developers can implement.
• Use SQL to extract, analyze, and validate data for business insights and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with software developers during design and development phases to ensure business alignment.
• Assist in testing new features, ensuring they meet user expectations before rollout.
• Document processes, systems, and user guides to support adoption and future maintenance.
• Coordinate efforts across departments and track project progress to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Relevant IT Degree or Diploma.
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance optimization).
• Proven experience in software development or database administration.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Familiarity with C# or similar languages.
• Understanding of API integrations and data modeling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
