POSITION INFO:

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Buyer in the Mining space. The Buyer will be supporting the company selecting the right goods and services at the right price and quality.

Key Responsibilities for this role will include:

Obtaining quotes
Managing and maintaining outstanding purchase orders as well as follow ups
Investigating and analyzing of defects
Managing suppliers and costs
Negotiation

Qualifications Required:

Grade 12
Purchasing Qualification (essential)
CIPS registered (advantageous)

Experienced Required:

3+ years experience in Technical Buying
Experience in the Automotive / Mining environment
Strong Negotiation and Expediting skills
Supplier Contracts exposure
International Imports experience (essential)
Pricing of Imported Materials, Custom Procedures, Shipping Terms and Clearance Procedures
MRP Software Experience
Syspro (advantageous)
