SUMMARY:
Our client in the Bulk Materials Handling industry is seeking a Technical Buyer with Engineering qualification to join them in Roodepoort. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years’ experience in similar industry.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Technical Buyer (Mechanical Engineering)
Geographical area: Roodepoort, Gauteng
Salary range: R 35 000.00 – R 45 000.00 CTC pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Obtaining quotes during tendering and execution of the project
Negotiating better pricing with suppliers
Sourcing new suppliers
Generate procurement schedules
Updating project engineers on delays and propose mitigation plans

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Matric
Relevant Engineering qualification
5-7 years’ experience in buying in engineering industry
