Technical Documentation/3D Visualiser and Animator - Engineering

SUMMARY:
A well-established engineering company based on the East Rand requires the above to create and develop visualisations for marketing and promotional activities, including animations and interactive applications.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Relevant qualification in 3D Visualisation, Animation and Design is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience within a related role is essential.
• Previous experience in 3D Studio Max, AutoDesk Maya, Cinema 4, TrapCode or related 3D Modelling software is essential.
• Must have knowledge of Adobe After Effects or related programs, CAD Systems and Adobe Photoshop.
• High level of computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills as well as good presentation skills are essential.
• Must be a self-motivated individual who can work under pressure with good time management skills.
• Must be an analytical individual with an attention for detail and an ability to learn quickly and implement feedback within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and creating engaging 3D animations as well as developing and printing 3D models as required.
• Creating and developing photorealistic and interactive renderings.
• Developing catalogues with interactive illustrations as well as digital manuals for spare parts.
• Updating operation and maintenance manuals as required.
• Managing all relevant technical and design documentation.
