Technical Equipment Controller

SUMMARY:
My client, a leading provider of chemical solutions and industrial equipment, is seeking a Technical Equipment Controller to join their Durban operations.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage equipment and component stock for installation and service.

• Prepare, assemble, and test equipment prior to on-site installation.

• Assess returned or faulty equipment for repair, refurbishment, or disposal.

• Maintain accurate stock and maintenance records (manual & ERP systems).

• Support installation technicians with technical guidance and troubleshooting.

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and proper PPE usage.

• Conduct periodic stock counts and equipment inspections.

Requirements:

• Technical or mechanical background (Electrical, Mechanical, or Heavy Equipment).

• Hands-on experience with equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance.

• Ability to work independently and support a team.

• Driver’s license and reliable transport.

• Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/stock management systems).
