JOB SUMMARY:
Technical External Sales Engineer residing in Potchefstroom / Carletonville / Rustenburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience selling process control instrumentation brands in mainly the Mining Industry.
Duties
  • Research prospective customers within an area, find contacts details and cold call.
  • Upkeep of relationship with customers, make weekly/monthly calls and/or visits if possible.
  • Promote all products and services.
  • Conduct demos in front of clients with instrumentation they might be interested in.
  • Do site inspections where necessary.
  • Keep a detailed call plan of weekly activities.
  • Keep a petrol log book.
  • Populate CRM system, with all contacts made.
  • Produce quotes for customers.
  • Produce a weekly forecast of expected orders.
  • Ensure all information is obtained of any new customer, to be given to accounts.
