SUMMARY:
-

POSITION INFO:

  • Help and assist our clients customers by making of product, training, provide guidance and problem solving (factories and butcheries)
  • Create new product lines and grow business/Gross Profit of the business
  • Learn and apply client classifications
  • Plan on building market share across all categories
  • Drive and achieve, volumes and budgets across all categories
  • Build solid long-standing client relationships
  • Absolute focus on customer and service
  • Develop new relationships through field visits
  • Develop agreements for factory accounts
  • Implementing suggested savings and tracking the value of the saving
  • Cost control, waste elimination, production flows and effective process controls
  • Driving Capex projects and managing Budgets
  • New Product Development – developing and pitching new products to our clients customers

Essential Requirements:

  • B. Sc. Food Science or any other food related qualification or extensive Butchery/Meat processing experience
  • MBA – advantageous
  • 5 -10 years’ experience in sales within a food manufacturing environment /FMCG
  • 5 – 10 years Commercial experience
  • 5 – 10 years Butchery Operations knowledge/experience
  • Butchery equipment knowledge/experience – advantageous
  • 5 – 10 years Meat processing experience
  • Experience in managing key account customers
