Your new role …
You''ll be joining an established Manchester tech company to proactively assist through an exciting period of digital transformation and change.
Part of this involves a total re-write of their platform, which spans across various websites and will involve some really interesting technical challenges from a front end perspective.
You''ll get the chance to work with and mentor some really high calibre people who are championing best practice; use of modern tech and have properly implemented Agile into their working practices! You will be hands on with the Release pipeline and unit testing too to ensure Continuous Integration.
On a day-to-day basis you''ll be working on user-facing features, where you''ll constantly be thinking about the user experience and following the agreed standards to keep the codebase tip top! You will lead code development across the squads, Product, Testing, Data and UX taking a collaborative approach and influencing development standards across the board.
Technology wise, they use a whole host of interesting stuff, so if you''re interested in any of the following, it is probably a good match:

You''ll be an experienced Front End Developer who has a genuine passion for what you do, ideally from a DevOps background with a good understanding of continuous integration.
You will have previously coached and mentored your colleagues, ideally through periods of change, and been a key contributor to the business.
Your new company are looking for people who can contribute to new ideas, new ways of thinking and have an understanding of front end development, which might mean sometimes not using boilerplates or fancy frameworks.
Although the company do have a grown-up approach to remote working, they are keen to foster collaboration so you''ll need to be comfortable working closely with others - whether that is remotely or in their stunning city centre HQ.
