This opportunity is with a leading luxury hospitality group renowned for its commitment to guest experience, community upliftment, and environmental sustainability. As a Technical Manager, you’ll oversee all technical operations across lodges, staff villages, and reserve infrastructure. You’ll lead a team of Artisans and contractors, manage solar and water systems, and ensure high standards of maintenance and project delivery. This bush-based role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in a remote, eco-conscious setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple properties.
- Oversee solar power systems, water purification, and electrical infrastructure.
- Lead construction and renovation projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Recruit, train, and manage technical staff across disciplines.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and sustainability initiatives.
Job Experience and Skills Required:- 3–5 years in a senior technical or maintenance management role in hospitality or lodge environments.
- Expertise in solar energy, water treatment, electrical systems (single and three-phase), plumbing, refrigeration, and general building maintenance.
- Formal qualifications in Electrical, Solar Installation, or Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
- Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
