A Highly regarded South African game development studio is expanding and is looking to hire additional Game Programmers in order to keep up with the current level of demand for our services.

Our past and current projects range from porting to co-development to tool production for Indie and AAA clients on such platforms as mobile, PC, VR, and both current and next-generation consoles.
General Requirements:

â— Ability to get up to speed with an existing code base.
â— Ability to write well thought out, optimised, and extendable code that follows established
coding conventions.
â— Proficient in C, C++, and/or C#.
â— Familiarity working with source control, particularly Git or Perforce.
â— Ability to diagnose issues through debugging and profiling code.
â— Secure and comfortable remote working environment with reliable high-speed internet.
Bonus Points:
â— Understanding of 2D & 3D graphics pipelines.
â— Understanding of standard game development optimisation principles.
â— Experience working on mobile, VR, or console platforms.
â— Experience using DirectX or OpenGL APIs.
â— Experience using JIRA or related task management tools.
â— Passionate about video games.
â— Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree.
Technical Programmer (intermediate to senior):
â— Professional or hobbyist experience creating or working on game development tools
and/or engines.
â— Excellent knowledge of C, C++, and/or C#.
â— Passion for creating efficient, optimised, and well crafted systems.
