Technical Project Manager

SUMMARY:
Tech Project Manager required to join a Company providing clients with an integrated retail POS display management solution.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the role:

• Drive and manage the implementation of IT related solutions which are key in transitioning the Business into a more effective digital and dynamic environment.
• Support product development by adding insight into observed business processes
• Ensure efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones that are within Budget
• Develop solid relationships with all stakeholders and ensure their buy-in to projects.

Outcomes:

• Develop project plans that are agile and meet demands of products/ projects
• Identify all stakeholders developing positive relations for effective collaboration and management of project/product expectations
• Liaise with Business owners around their respective areas so as to develop an understanding of the business so as to enable more efficient project delivery
• Collaborate with technical teams both internal and external to establish timelines, infrastructure requirements and training needs.
• Create, maintain and plan projects
• Obtain project approval when required
• Create and manage project budgets
• Track project plans and schedules, update all documentation
• Manage project scope and pre-empt any potentials risk, putting in place risk management processes
• Set up meetings and facilitate, clarify agendas, capture actions, document & distribute minutes.
• Create all project templates, standards processes
• Provide regular progress reports

Skills:

• Solid Project Management skills (Agile)
• Understanding of SDLC
• Ability to understand the timelines around software development
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Business/Systems Analysis experience advantageous
• Ability to develop insight into business processes
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills (English – Written and Spoken)
• Ability to manage expectations and push back when required
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Ability to handle stress and operate under tight deadlines
• Well versed in Project Management software and Excel
• Critical and Analytical thinking

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business/ IT related subjects preferable
• Project Management
