SUMMARY:
Technical Pump Sales Engineer is required to fill a vacancy at a leading pump company dealing with a wide range of pumps for the energy, petrochemical, mining, and wastewater industries.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Proven track record of selling pumps with a high degree of customer service skills
Research and identify target markets and clients to grow market share
Result oriented with strong organisational skills
Develop and implement pump sales strategies to reach potential customers
Visiting customers to gather requirements and providing pump solutions therefore
Preparing proposals and other technical documents that guides the customer on the provided pump solutions
Resolving pump and spare issues in collaboration with product engineers
Provide timely responses to both internal and external customers
Ensure quality of engineering/service support at customer sites

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Not a prerequisite but will be beneficial) and relevant experience in the pump industry
Minimum 10 years’ relevant work experience
3 to 5 years pump sales experience specifically
Good general knowledge of pump applications, engineering concepts and mechanical engineering
Good understanding of pump fundamentals, pumps operations and pump components
Well versed in pump installation, servicing and commissioning
Excellent track record and experience in pump sales, client communication and customer service
Must have a strong client base
Must be willing to travel (extended hours and weekends if needed)

Remuneration:

Market-related (dependent on experience and qualifications)
