Technical Quality and Risk Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Centurion is seeking a driven Technical Quality and Risk Manager to provide support services for clients, directors and staff to ensure and uphold quality standards and effective risk management.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Experience in Report Writing.
• Proficient with MS Office.

• Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience Post SAICA Articles in the industry.
• Essential: Working knowledge of:
• IFRS,
• SME’s,
• JSE Listing requirements,
• International auditing standards,
• GRAP knowledge.

Main responsibilities:

Training:

• Training courses and workshop sessions development.
• Staff training.
• Training policies and procedures development.
• Simulation test marking.

Quality Control:

• Reviewing engagement quality controls.
• Reviewing internal quality monitors.
• Audit opinion appropriateness reviews.
• Review compliance with auditing standards.
• Quality control standard implementation.

Audit Methodology:

• Working paper template development.
• Compliance checklists development.
• Internal manuals and guide development.
• Accounting and legislative guides development.

Consultation and support services:

• Perform research on accounting and auditing matters and new standards.
• Companies Act legislation application guidance.
• Committee meeting attendance.
• Perform technical reviews on Annual Financial Statements.

Communication:

• Technical directive issue research.
• Technical proposals, opinion and report write ups.
• Technical staff mentoring.

Additional Information:

• High level of independence required.
• Operating Hours:  8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
