Duration: 3-month Probation onto a 6-month Contract

A well-established, 100% Black owned ICT and Security consulting company that was formed in 2013 is looking for a Technical Sales and Operations Manager. The company has excellent resources with a wealth of experience in ICT & Security Systems consulting services. The DGT has identified business opportunities in the ICT & Security Systems, and they are positioning themselves to optimally explore opportunities created in this industry and going forward, they would like to position themselves as service providers of choice to their customers with regard to ICT & Security Systems services around the globe.

Minimum Requirements:
5 years or more experience in similar experience in the telecommunications sector
Technical knowledge – General WAN, LAN, CLOUD, Cyber Security and Telephony
Be familiar with overall Public Sector processes
Experience in defining sales and technical processes or working in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance (QA) environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information to customers clearly and concisely
Ability to manage multiple problems and projects with a focus on details
At least 2 years’ experience managing a sales operations team
Experience in marketing, budgeting, and expense tracking
Relevant Academic Qualification

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with key IT and business stakeholders and become an expert in customer implementations by understanding their top business goals and priorities
Conduct technical reviews and share knowledge to proactively identify and prevent problems.
Manage, Address and Resolve incidents/problems and escalations about the platform for our clients.
Manage customer use cases and maintain clear and concise case documentation.
Cooperate in the improvement and optimization of our internal processes.
Work closely with our engineering, product management, and technical support teams to ensure teams are all working towards common goal
Supporting the business to achieve sales and revenue targets, by delivering a structured and cross-functional capability in pipeline management and reporting; customer level analysis; commercial management including bid structuring, profitability governance, contract negotiation and conversion of order to revenue; as well as dashboard development, cross functional improvement plans and the execution of various initiatives
Conducting performance analysis and reporting on business performance
Providing support in weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews and annual planning
Managing any cross-functional delivery issues encountered
Analysing revenue conversion
Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition
Providing support with marketing initiatives including campaigns, exhibitions, trade shows, channel activations, marketing materials and reporting on ROI, etc
