Purpose of the Job:
The core purpose of a Sales Representative is to drive revenue growth by identifying and engaging potential customers, as well as nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients. They act as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, responsible for promoting and selling products or services to meet or exceed sales targets.
In this role, Sales Representatives actively seek new business opportunities through a variety of methods, including networking, lead generation, and cold calling. They engage in consultative selling, understanding customer needs and tailoring solutions to meet those needs. This requires a thorough knowledge of the company''s product or service offerings, as well as the ability to effectively communicate benefits and value propositions.
Sales Representatives are also responsible for negotiating terms of sales agreements, addressing customer concerns, and providing post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. They work collaboratively with internal teams, such as marketing and customer service, to align sales strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent is the minimum requirement.
- A bachelor''s degree, particularly in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is preferred
Required Minimum Work Experience:
3 - 5 Years experience in electrical cable sales.
Competencies:
- Sales Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, including consultative selling, negotiation, and closing deals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with customers.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other sales-related tools. Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, is also valuable.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding the company''s products or services and the ability to convey their benefits to customers. This might require specific training or certification, depending on the industry.
- Customer-Focused Mindset: A focus on customer satisfaction, with the ability to address customer needs and provide exceptional service.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: The ability to solve customer problems and adapt to changing sales environments or targets.

Salary Bracket:
- Commision
- 35 - 40k per month ctc
