Technical Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
A client based in Germiston is looking for a motivated Technical Sales Representative to join their team

POSITION INFO:

• The ideal candidate will have a background in trades such as Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or a similar field, and is looking to transition from a machining/shop environment into sales
• Trade background (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or similar).
• Basic PC skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Generate and develop leads through proactive, “hunter” sales approach.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify client needs and provide technical solutions.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

• R25 000 - R30 000 per month + Company phone, Fuel card & Car allowance
• Additionally, commissions will be between 1% & 1.5% of total sales made
