Technical Sales Representative

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within an assigned territory Conduct face-to-face client visits to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline Engage with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy requirements Present and promote renewable energy solutions tailored to customer needs Qualify opportunities and convert leads into new business Attend networking events, community activations, and marketing campaigns to generate new leads Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities using CRM systems Achieve weekly and monthly sales and new business targets Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback Work closely with the internal sales and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Skills & Experience: Minimum 3+ years' experience in technical sales, external sales, field sales, or business development with a strong focus on hunting and new business generation Proven track record of prospecting, lead generation, and closing new business Experience selling technical, electrical, industrial, or renewable energy solutions is advantageous Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle Willingness to travel within the assigned territory Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric) Qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is advantageous Relevant technical sales or field sales experience is essential Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
