Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Diploma in Business Management or similar qualification.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification will be advantageous.
• Minimum 5–10 years' technical sales experience within the valve industry (essential).
• Proven experience selling technical products into the mining and industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of valve applications and industrial processes.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales and gross profit targets.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience preparing quotations, tenders and technical proposals.
• CRM system experience (Navision and Microsoft Office advantageous).
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.

• Develop and grow sales within the mining and industrial sectors.
• Manage and expand existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Promote a specialised range of industrial valve and flow control solutions.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and technical proposals.
• Conduct product presentations and technical training for customers.
• Provide technical support and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Work closely with engineering, quality and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and new project opportunities.
• Achieve monthly sales, gross profit and business growth targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
• Travel regularly to customer sites throughout the assigned region.
