JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the chemical industry has an EE opportunity available for a Technical Sales and Export Manager in Water Care to be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Degree in Water treatment or related qualification
Commercial qualification will be an added advantage
10 - 15 years Technical Sales knowledge in water treatment
6-10 years managerial experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework
Must be willing to travel extensively in Africa
Experience in Exports/Africa Sales

KPAs:

Leveraging technical expertise to guide the technical team to service the customers
Direct and coordinate sales activities in the international market.
Coordinate and direct the tender bidding process for water treatment products and services.
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and services.
Scouting for new water treatment business opportunities in the international and the mining sector.
Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
Support the technical team on customer solutions
People management and able to manage teams
